Travelling Guidelines

Noi Bai Airport is the nearest airport to Thai Nguyen City.  Please buy airfare to Noi Bai Airport, Vietnam.  When you get Noi Bai Airport, you may take taxi to Thai Nguyen City (It take about one hour and cost 40 USD) or take Mini bus to Thai Nguyen City (it costs about 10 USD).  Our Conference volunteers will be at Noi Bai Airport with ESAFS signs to asist you in day 25 March 2024.

Noi Bai International Airport

Noi Bai International Airport (Vietnamese: Sân bay quốc tế Nội Bài) in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is the second largest and busiest airport for passenger traffic in Vietnam. It is currently the main airport serving Hanoi and other satellite cities of Ha Noi. The airport consists of two passenger terminals. Terminal 1 serves domestic flights, and Terminal 2 serves all international flights to and from Hanoi.

The airport is located in Phu Minh Commune in Soc Son District, about 35 kilometres northeast of downtown Hanoi, and 50 km from Thai Nguyen City. There is mini bus connecting Noi Bai Airport to Thai Nguyen City every 20 minutes.
